Wavelength: 610nm
Wireless device that enhances veins by transillumination effect
Description
The VEIN EXPLORER is a wireless device that enhances the veins by transillumination effect.
Technical characteristics
illumination
12 piranha leds
Wavelength: 610nm
Maximum luminous flux of each led: 3.7lm (lumen)
Total maximum luminous flux: 44.4lm
Total luminous intensity: 31.08cd (candles)
Batteries
The device has an internal battery pack that allows it to operate without being connected to the electrical network. The batteries are recharged through a battery charger that is connected to the power grid. The battery pack consists of 6 rechargeable nickel-metal batteries with a total rated voltage of 7.2V and 600mAh. Full charge time: 10hs. Discharge time with continuous lighting: 1h
Physical dimensions
Length: 13.5cm | Width: 8.5cm | Height: 3.6cm | Weight: 180g
Performance
The device has an anatomical shape to facilitate its manipulation.
There are two ways to turn the VEIN EXPLORER on:
With the ignition key on the left side having two positions: backward off, forward on or with the buttons on both sides with touch operation. They allow the VEIN to be on only when is touched, and when it is released it turns off, the light fades away softly.
It is a semi luminous ring that rests on the skin, illuminating the inside of the body. In the central area of the semi-circle, the trajectory of the veins can be observed in a dark tone. The open area of the semi-hoop allows accessing the vein with a syringe if necessary.
The semi hoop or luminous horseshoe is formed by 12 high brightness piranha type leds of red color that is the most efficient color to enhance the veins.
Battery charger
The battery charger is a standard switching source with AC input voltage of 100 to 240Vac, 50 or 60 Hz. The output is 12Vdc and 1 to 2A maximum current. The polarity of the output connector must be according to the polarity indicated in the voltage input of the VEIN. The charger is provided together with the VEIN EXPLORER.
The current indicated at the input of the power connector, 400mA, is the maximum current that the VEIN takes from the power supply.
The luminous indication of the state of the battery is as follows:
